by some stroke of amazingness (thanks eric bradford and doug sharkey) the g.o. (green opportunities) woodworking program is going to make the bookcases.
also, coming february 25th, 5pm, at downtown books and news, sharon mammoser, nature lover and bats specialist will come speak to your children about bats and why we should love them.
she works with children to help them understand and develop a love of these flying mammals.
this video comes to you from the latest snake, rabbit, and snail educational lecture for children. meg mulhearn, charlie howes, and lisa moss brought an amazing presentation to the children of asheville. they asked the children what they thought these things sounded like. then they played their interpretations of stars, meteors, and planets with their instruments. then they played actual nasa recordings of space sounds!
if you haven't already considered it, please take a moment to consider donating a little to the bookmobile. there is currently a kickstarter campaign for it.
